Goodwell, Okla. — Over twenty members of Omega Psi Alpha got together over two days last month and phoned over 1,000 friends and alumni of Oklahoma Panhandle State University and issued invitations to what turned out to be the very large and very successful OPSU Homecoming festivities (on Oct. 25).
One of the highlights of this year’s Homecoming was an outdoor lunch, prior to the football game, and many familiar with OPSU said the event was as well-attended as any in the past.
Brandon Moore is the president of Omega Psi Alpha at OPSU, Ryan Daugherty is the vice president, and Brent Shoulders (Instructor in Art/Humanities) serves as the faculty advisor.
According to Moore, the group at OPSU currently has 27 active members, is seeking to become a national chapter, and has several more projects in the works.
Watch for more on Omega Psi Alpha -– it’s a great group of young people with an eye on the future.
