OPSU 57th annual bull test update

Goodwell, Okla. — The beef bulls in the 57th Annual OPSU Beef Performance Test are performing very well halfway through the 112-day testing period. They have an overall ADG (average-daily-gain) of 5.18 lbs. and an overall WDA (weight-per-day-of-age) of 3.33 lbs. The test will be completed Jan. 31, 2009 and the top 70 head will sell in the 57th Annual Performance Tested Sale, Feb. 23, 2009. Read full post

Aggies average over 100 points in two weekend wins

Goodwell, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State men’s basketball team picked up a pair of very big wins – Friday night over Barclay (99-60) and on Saturday afternoon over Dallas Christian (102-77). A dozen Aggies scored in each of the two games; with six scoring in double digits on Friday and five doing the same on Saturday. Read full post

Goodwell, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State women’s basketball team was in Golden, Colorado on Friday and Saturday to compete in a tournament hosted by Colorado School of Mines. The Lady Aggies played the host school on Friday and went against the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs on Saturday, losing both contests. Read full post
