The Guymon High School Art Club, the Art Zombies, is once again presenting a six-week workshop on Altered Books. The workshops begin at 7 p.m. in the new art room at the high school on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and run for three weeks with a break during Thanksgiving week. They resume and run three consecutive weeks in December.

Goodwell, Okla. — The combined forces of the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Department of Music and several special guests will present a Musicircus from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, in the Student Union Ballroom on the OPSU campus in Goodwell. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Kim Tuttle will remain Miss Teen of Oklahoma. Results are in from the Miss Teen of America Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Carlene Miller of New York is the new Miss Teen of America. First Runner-Up is Meredith Potter of North Carolina. Second Runner-Up is Erika Bauer of Michigan. Third Runner-Up is Kylee Richmond of Idaho. Other states among the National Finalists included South Dakota, Arkansas, Montana, and Minnesota.
