The following market information was reported by the U.S. and Oklahoma departments of agriculture and other sources for the week ended Friday.

CATTLE
Oklahoma combined weekly auction summary. Feeder cattle weighted average report for week of June 19 to Friday.

Combined weighted average report for Oklahoma auctions, this week including Oklahoma City, Apache, El Reno, Texhoma, Ada, Woodward, McAlester and Tulsa.

Feeder cattle trending steady to higher this week while calves were not well-tested and mostly steady. Receipts ontinue to drop off.

Receipts: 27,000; last week 30,900; last year 28,300.

Steers: Medium and large No. 1: (weighted average) 314 lbs. $126.59; 358 lbs. $123.52; 429 lbs. $116.19; 476 lbs. $112.66; 525 lbs. $109.21; 574 lbs. $106.56; 626 lbs. $104.05, calves $102.56; 674 lbs. $101.87, calves $95.44; 728 lbs. $101.58; 777 lbs. $98.29; 820 lbs. $96.76; 869 lbs. $95.63; 923 lbs. $92.43; 976 lbs. $89.93; 1,022 lbs. $87.62.

Heifers: Medium and large No. 1: (weighted average) 374 lbs. $104.05; 424 lbs. $102.43; 481 lbs. $98.60; 523 lbs. $98.20; 578 lbs. $96.18; 623 lbs. $96.16, calves $90.06; 676 lbs. $95.79; 727 lbs. $93.88; 778 lbs. $91.08; 823 lbs. $88.91; 871 lbs. $85.77; 927 lbs. $81.

Slaughter cows: Average dressing boners and breakers $48-$52.50; lean cows $46-$49.50.

Slaughter bulls: Average dressing $61-$64.50.

SLAUGHTER CATTLE
Slaughter cattle trade steady in Texas and Kansas. Nebraska was trading moderate with dressed prices $1 lower than last week and live prices steady. Slaughter cattle on a national basis for negotiated cash trades through Friday afternoon totaled 152,500 head. Last week’s movement totaled 166,800 head.

Nebraska feedlots: Dressed steers and heifers $129. Live steers and heifers $80-$81, few to $82.

South Plains feedlots: Texas and Kansas steers and heifers: $82.

CATTLE FUTURES
Friday’s close.

Live cattle: June $82.47; August $82.40; October $88.12; December $88.67.

Feeder cattle: August $98.97; September $98.97; October $98.57; November $98.70.

CATTLE SLAUGHTER
Federally inspected cattle: 673,000, down 5.6 percent from last year.

HOGS
Oklahoma City Direct: Wednesday’s market. 325 head sold.

Barrows and gilts: Steady. 220-270 lbs. $32.

Sows: $2-$4 lower. 300-500 lbs. $20-$28, 500-700 lbs. $30-$32.

Sioux Falls, S.D.: Thursday’s market.

Barrows and gilts: U.S. Nos. 1-3 220-280 lbs. $38.

Sows: 300-450 lbs. $28; 450-500 lbs. $30; 500-700 lbs. $33-$35.

Western Cornbelt Direct: Lean hog base price weighted average price of packers’ bids on a carcass basis delivered to packing plants Friday $57.20.

HOG FUTURES
Friday’s close. Dressed basis (74 percent yield): July $56.70; August $57.70; October $54.77; December $55.85.

HOG SLAUGHTER
Federally inspected hogs: 2,032 million, down 5 percent from last year.

SHEEP AND GOATS
Perkins Goat Auction: Sheep and goat auction report for June 20.

Receipts: This week 795; last sale 768.

Compared with the last sale: Slaughter kids $5-$6 lower. Slaughter nannies $6-$8 lower. Slaughter billies $4-$5 lower on a light test. Demand moderate. Prices for sheep are per hundredweight, goats are by the head.

Slaughter goats: Selection No. 1: 30-40 lbs. $33-$37; 40-60 lbs. $60-$69; 60-80 lbs. $69-$76; 80-100 lbs. $79-$82. Selection No. 2: 40-60 lbs. $50-$57; 60-80 lbs. $66-$68.

Slaughter nannies: Selection No. 1: 80-125 lbs. $43-$56; 130-150 lbs. $59-$66. Selection Nos. 2-3: 80-125 lbs. $35-$41; thin 75-115 lbs. $31-$36.

Slaughter billies: Boer and Boer cross 100-150 lbs. $82-$85; 150-250 lbs. $92-$111.

Feeder and replacement goats: Grazing and feeder nannies: 60-90 lbs. $40-$52. Dairy cross: 50-60 lbs. $25-$35. Feeder kids: 20-30 lbs. $13-$27; 30-40 lbs. $24-$42.

Replacement does: Selection No. 1: Young 80-125 lbs. $62-$75; aged: 110-145 lbs. $52-$60.

Replacement rams: Boer and Boer cross: 140-220 lbs. $100-$130.

Sheep: Slaughter lambs 75-100 lbs. $90-$102. Feeder lambs less than 50 lbs. $70-$83; 50-80 lbs. $75-$82; 80-100 lbs. $80-$93.

Slaughter ewes: Utility and good 100-165 lbs. $23-$39; cull 125-135 lbs. $12-$18.

Slaughter rams: 70-135 lbs. $70-$90.

SHEEP SLAUGHTER
Federally inspected sheep: 39,000, down 9.3 percent from a year ago.

BOXED BEEF
Estimated composite boxed beef cutout value: Market closed $.37 lower than last Friday. Choice 600-900 lbs. $138.93; Select 600-900 lbs. $132.30.

MEAT PRODUCTION
Beef: 516.2 million lbs., down 6.1 percent from last year.

Pork: 412 million lbs., down 2.6 percent from last year.

Lamb: 2.8 million lbs., down 3.4 percent from last year.

CATTLE CARCASS WEIGHTS
National average: This week’s estimate 769 lbs.; last week’s estimate 769 lbs.; last year’s actual 774 lbs.
