In the direct slaughter cattle trade in the Five Major Marketing Areas,
Texas/Oklahoma; Kansas; Nebraska; Colorado; Iowa/Minnesota; Not enough sales
reported to establish a trend. Steers: Live basis; (all Grades: 3,603 head)
80.00-82.50, weighted average price 80.56. Dressed basis; (all Grades: 4,854
head) 128.00-131.00, weighted average price 129.14. Heifers: live basis; (all
Grades: 1,216 head) 80.00-81.00, weighted average price 80.34. Dressed Basis;
(all Grades: 1,719 head) 128.50-131.00, weighted average price 129.19.

price 56.22. Iowa-Minnesota 1.31 lower at 46.00-58.65, weighted average price
56.34. Western Cornbelt .56 lower at 46.00-58.65, weighted average price
57.12 and the Eastern Cornbelt .47 lower at 47.00-58.99, weighted average
price 54.81.

Live Basis (240-280 lbs): National direct barrows and gilts 1.73 lower at
38.06-46.00, weighted average 43.13. Iowa-Minnesota 1.98 lower at 40.14-45.15,
