Goodwell, Okla. — Each week during the school year, Oklahoma Panhandle State University recognizes their Student Athletes of the Week -– an honor based upon leadership, citizenship, academic accomplishment, and athletic performance.

Honored this week is a pair of hard working young people -– Stacia States of the Lady Aggie softball team and baseball player Luke Korum.

States is a hardworking outfielder on the Lady Aggie softball team who is also a very hard worker in the classroom. The soft-spoken senior from Hennessy, Oklahoma is pursuing a degree in Ag Business.

Korum, an All-Heartland Conference shortstop last season, is gearing up for yet another big year in an Aggie uniform. The senior from Colorado Springs is also a well-liked young man who is pursuing his degree in Business Administration.
