Goodwell, Okla. — In an effort to keep students, faculty, staff, and the public informed about events on the OPSU campus, electronic billboards have been installed across the entire campus. On Thursday, Feb. 19, the public is invited to attend a celebration of the new signs at 3 p.m. in the lobby of Hughes-Strong auditorium. One of the new signs displays campus events right above the entrance to Oscar Williams Fieldhouse where those driving by on Aggie Boulevard can see upcoming events. The other outdoor sign is mounted on the south side of the Student Union Building, and inside signs are located in the Hughes-Strong lobby, the Aggie Grill, the Science and Agriculture Building lobby, the cafeteria, and Carter Hall. The messages on the signs can all be changed nearly instantly via computer, allowing OPSU to alert those on campus of any emergency such as severe weather.
Plan now to join us February 19 at 3 p.m. for cake, punch, and coffee to see the signs and commemorate OPSU’s continuing service to the community!
