“Crystal Darkness” community watch party tonight in the Guymon Classroom

Goodwell, Okla. — Methamphetamine, also known as “crystal meth” or simply “meth” is a manufactured drug proven to be highly addictive, sometimes from the very first use. As part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness of meth use, Mike Boring, the Texas County District Attorney, is heading up the local Oklahoma Crystal Darkness Campaign. “Crystal Darkness” is a 28-minute documentary that enlightens communities about Meth’s devastating effects on the user, family and friends. Oklahoma Panhandle State University’s Guymon Classroom, located at 5th iand Roosevelt, will host a Community Watch Party this Tuesday, Jan. 13, beginning at 6:30. Following the documentary, a community discussion will be held. Plan to join your neighbors in the Guymon Classroom on Tuesday and be a part of stopping this drug’s frightening impact on our community.
