Mary M. Trimmell

Guymon, Oklahoma – Mary M. Trimmell, 90, died Sunday evening, Dec. 28, 2008.
The daughter of August F. Reiman and Juliana M. (Simon) Reiman, she was born April 28, 1918, in Boyd, Oklahoma. She was married to Howard J. Trimmell on Sept. 24, 1940, at the Kolman Church in Beaver County, Oklahoma. They had ten children and Mary helped on the farm and ranch and helped Howard with his custom combining. She was a full time mother.
Mary enjoyed gardening and quilting, was a member of the Boyd Home Extension Club and spent many happy hours quilting with her friends from the club. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Liberal, Kansas.
Mary was preceded in death by two daughters, newborn Nellie Maria Trimmell and Anne Mae Trimmell, age 3. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Howard; her parents and three brothers, Frank, Alton and John Reiman.
She is survived by eight children, David Trimmell and wife, Irene of Levitown, PA; Patricia and husband, Kenneth VanDeburgh of Rye, CO; Donald Trimmell of Lubbock, TX; John Trimmell and wife, Beverly of Liberal, KS; Robert Trimmell and wife, Dolly of Longview, TX; Julie and husband, Bob Felder of Wichita Falls, TX; Paul Trimmell and wife, Carol of Blanchard, OK; and Agnes and husband, Michael Zakrzewicz of Guymon; and special friends, Joella Karber of Balko, OK and Mary Davis of Lone Star, TX. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren.
Vigil Prayer Service will be Thursday, January 1, 2009, 7:00 P.M. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1220 N. Quinn, Guymon. Funeral Liturgy will be Friday morning, January 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter’s with Rev. Bill Pruett and Rev. Anthony RajRam, officiating. Graveside services will be Friday afternoon, 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Cemetery, Beaver County under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
Memorials may be given to St. Peter’s Catholic Church and will be designated to the Indian Mission in care of Father Anthony RajRam. Memorials will be accepted at the church or Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
