OK grain prices 12/31/08
Oklahoma City — Here are the closing prices for the cash grain markets for Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, as reported by the state Department of Agriculture.

Cooler, clear days ahead for New Year
A cold front passed over yesterday afternoon. You probably noticed – the temperature was a delightful 74; then the winds picked up and the next thing you knew a few hours later we were in the 50s and still dropping.
Seaboard now back on Mexico’s import list
Guymon’s Seaboard pork-processing plant fell into the second wave of approvals worked out by the USDA and Mexico – another five that were agreed upon Tuesday afternoon. The first 20 of the original 30 plant suspensions were re-listed this morning. Another five remain under suspension.
