Carlene Miller of New York is the new Miss Teen of America. First Runner-Up is Meredith Potter of North Carolina. Second Runner-Up is Erika Bauer of Michigan. Third Runner-Up is Kylee Richmond of Idaho. Other states among the National Finalists included South Dakota, Arkansas, Montana, and Minnesota.

Kim says, “It was very much an honor to be named among the National Finalists; however, I look forward to the opportunity this title presents to serve this great state.” Upcoming events in the life of Miss Teen of Oklahoma include the Annual Chamber Banquet, OPSU Homecoming Parade, and GHS StudentCouncil Districts.

Tuttle is in the process of mailing out letters to towns in the state and looking forward to feedback in which she will be invited to events around the state. “This title is simply a doorway into schools and communities. It is definitely away for me to reach out to the state and show them positive qualities in teens today,” says Tuttle.

Kim believes her largest impact will take place here in the panhandle simply because it is easier on travel, but will definitely work with people in the rest of the state. All of her participation will depend upon her schedule. Please, if you have something going on and are interested in Kim taking part in it, contact her by phone or email.
