Landon Allen “Hopper” Edwards, 26, of Guymon passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 in Guymon.

The son of Billy Joe and Carla Jane (Clay) Seymour, Landon was born June 19, 1982 in Guymon. He attended the Guymon school system and worked in the construction and carpentry industry.

Hopper loved spending his time building derby cars and mechanicing. He was also very family oriented and loved being around others. Hopper always had a smile, and his smile said it all. He never met a person he didn’t love or that didn’t love him back. He will be missed deeply, never forgotten, and always with us.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: A.B. and Della Clay, Catherine Daily and Edith Groves; an uncle, Archie Clay; and an aunt, Marilyn Buck.

Survivors include his parents, Carla and Bill Seymour of Guymon; five brothers and sisters: Chantry Clay of Guymon, Brandon Edwards and girlfriend, Toya Benton of Edmond, Oklahoma, Tiffany and Michael Enriquez of Guymon, Steven Seymour of Guymon and Annie Seymour of Edmond; nieces and nephews: Brooklyn and Kaison Trazor Edwards, Kambyr Holden, Estefana and Gavin Sullivan, Gabrielle, Ayden and Alyssia Enriquez, Ashlyn Seymour, Acrissa Daya Arnold and Justice Ezra Benavente. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, September 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastside Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.   Services are under the direction of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home.
