Community Theatre presents awards

Guymon Community Theatre recently presented awards upon the conclusion of their successful 29th season. Yes, that means this is their 30th year and plans are in the works to acknowledge that — later.

Winner of Guymon Community Theatre\'s own Tony awardsWinners of Guymon Community Theatre’s local equivalent of the Tony awards are: Back Row  –  Lucinda Ray, Director, Most Enjoyable Show for Thoroughly Modern Millie; Katie Brown, Best Female in a Lead Role for Steel Magnolias; Raven Carter, Director, Best Set Design for Cinderella, and Vincent Leaming, Best Male in a Supporting Role for Cinderella. Front Row  –  June Wadley, Best Female in a Supporting Role for Steel Magnolias; Lyndsay Barton, Best Female in a Cameo Role for Steel Magnolias, and Penny Knollenberg, set designer and artist for Cinderella

Not pictured are Luke North, Best Male in a Lead Role for Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Matt Knollenberg, Best Male in a Cameo Role for Thoroughly Modern Millie.
