Hot days ahead

A tree stands silhouetted against the early morning sun as the clear skies foretell of the hot weather in the days to come.
Look for daytime temps around 100 and overnight lows in the 60s through the middle of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Amarillo.
If we’re lucky, there will be a bit of a breeze out of the south to move the hot air.
Remember to drink lots of water to stay hydrated and always have fresh, cool water available for pets and livestock.
